A fun and exciting day with Magical Circus, with a Circus Performance by Angelo & Melanie the Ringmaster and Dancer, your instructors for the day, to entertain and inspire everyone. The performance in your school hall includes a whole range of circus skills from juggling to stilt walking to unicycling and tight-wire walking with lots of fun and laughter throughout.
Get the full experience with two genuine circus artist plus circus skills and a fascinating circus History lesson which includes artists costumes, memomarabilia and the chance to dress up with real clown shoes!
The two classes then follow a structured day which includes a circus workshop session of age appropriate and ability skills (usually juggling, balancing or plate spinning, diabolo and bucket or hand-held stilt-walking), a history of circus and Melanie & Angelo's lives in circus, free time to practise a favourite skill and the day finishes with a Children's Circus Performance for all the pupils (and teachers too) to show off their newly acquired skills and to which parents can be invited!!!

We had Melanie and Angelo visit our school as an end of year treat for our attendance celebration. I cannot rate them high enough. They put on a wonderful show for 100 children and had every one of them in the palms of their hands. We had children from reception to yr 6 and they all had the best time. The staff loved it too. Lunch
The School Visit includes certificates from Magical Circus for all the pupils, a 'playground props bucket' of 10 items, usually 6 spinning plates and sticks and 4 sets of juggling balls to use to continue mastering the skills after we have gone and a selection of toy prizes for the 'Circus Art and Writing Competitions' to be set by the teachers and for the winners to take home. We reserve the right to alter the circus props and toy prizes according to suppliers availability.
Circus Skills are a great form of exercise, they require flexibility, strength, balance, agility and develop hand-eye co-ordination. They also require self-motivation, self discipline, concentration and an artistic flare, so the skills and the theme of circus can be linked to the curriculum in a number of ways, from a mathematical, scientific or artistic approach. Most of all circus is great fun, so children are learning without realizing it.
Please note, we will require the use of the school hall throughout the day, allowing for the lunch break (props will be packed away for health and safety reasons) and also a good sized class-room in the afternoon for the Circus History session which will need to be set up during the lunch break.
