Before and After School Circus Club

Circus skills at your school!

A great opportunity for your school to offer one of the most engaging and fun school activity clubs.

Juggling has been linked to improvements in children's behaviour, concentration and academic achievement, due to its close relation to the concept of 'interceptive timing'.

Mathematical attainment in children is related to interceptive timing ability.

In addition to such an extraordinary benefit, circus skills also:

  • offer a fun way to become involved in a physical activity and have regular exercise
  • boost self-esteem
  • boost self-confidence
  • teach step by step learning
  • teach problem solving by breaking each skill down into chunks
  • increase observation, analysis and attention skills
  • encourage imagination by the creation of new tricks or patterns
  • are excellent for de-streesing
  • have been recommended for short breaks during challenging subjects to promote the learning journey
  • encourage socialization and exchange of ideas
  • improve resiliance by teaching that learning something takes practise and dedication

Morning Circus Club

1 hour before lessons start, the fee for a 1 hour session is £3.50 per pupil (minimum 15 pupils /maximum 30 pupils).

After School Circus Club

1 hour after school finishes, the fee for a 1 hour session is £3.50 per pupil (minimum 15 pupils /maximum 30 pupils).

2 hours after school finishes (more fun, more learning) and the fee for a 2 hour session is £5.00 (minimum 10 pupils / maximum 30 pupils).

The minimum age is 6 years upwards or year 1 pupils upwards and mixed age ranges are welcome to join in the same session, so places can be filled easily.

Our Circus School Club will be provided by one experienced, fully insured, DBS checked professional instructor.

What is involved?

The course will involve learning a range of circus skills, exercise through physical fun and games, develop self-motivation and perseverance and build individuals confidence through small achievements and regular demonstrations.

What does your school needs to do?

There will be no cost to your school. All we ask is for the use of your school hall at not cost to us, and the children to commit to and pay for a half term course in advance.

This offer is only available for schools on the Wirral and in Liverpool within a 10 mile radius from our location. For schools further afield, travel expenses would be additional.

Spring 2nd half term (25/02/2019 - 29/03/2019)

  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday - 5 weeks
  • 1 hour session am or pm - £17.50
  • 2 hour session pm - £25.00

Summer 1st half term (15/04/2019 - 24/05/2019)

  • Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday - 6 weeks
  • 1 hour session am or pm - £21.00
  • 2 hour session pm - £30.00
  • Monday - 4 weeks
  • 1 hour session am or pm - £14.00
  • 2 hour session pm - £20.00
  • Friday - 5 weeks
  • 1 hour session am or pm - £17.50
  • 2 hour session pm - £25.00

Summer 2nd half term (03/06/2019 - 19/07/2019)

  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday - 7 weeks
  • 1 hour session am or pm - £24.50
  • 2 hour session pm - £35.00

  • Can, hand-held and hands-free stilts

Today our children from Oswald Road Primary School attended the Magical Circus! I can truly say that this was the best trip I have ever been on.
Melanie and Angelo were so lovely with our children. The setting was so age appropriate and so safe for our children. This was the easiest trip I have ever been on. The children thoroughly enjoyed the tricks and the apparatus. Thank you so much.
I will be recommending to everyone I know.
