We attended a birthday party at the weekend for my niece, and what a fantastic party it was! From start to finish there was entertainment, lots of space for the children and parents too. The venue is incredible how they have decorated it and all the separate rooms too for playing too.

Why not have a children's party at the circus with professional instructors and hosts Melanie and Angelo. We offer an engaging and active party package full of fun with a choice of three options: circus skills workshop, disco or roller disco (recommended for skaters 8 years upwards).

  • Additional children cost £10.00 per head over 1 year of age (all children attending must be paid for, see our terms and conditions below for un-invited siblings).
  • Party bags £2.00 each or bring your own!
  • Additional invites £0.25 each.
  • Teas and coffees for 20 adults £20.00.
  • Cakes and biscuits for 20 adults £25.00.
  • Sandwiches (for 10 adults) £25.00.

Party Structure:

30 minutes to meet and greet with your guests in the Fantasy Play Room where children can explore and play together.

Please note, for older children (recommended 11 years plus), the Fantasy Play Room session can be replaced with further circus skills or roller disco.

20 minutes food and drink interval in the Travellers Tea Room

30 minutes in the Circus Hall for Circus Skills Workshop, Fun Disco or Roller Disco.

10 minutes balloon modelling for all the children, hand out party bags and say 'goodbye'.

We offer a choice of fresh, healthy an delicous food prepared at our venue!

  • Sandwich variety - cheese, ham, tuna mayonnaise and jam

Terms and conditions:

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking along with a completed booking form for insurance purposes. 100% fee is payable for cancellations within 6 weeks (42 days) of the arranged date. In the event of a Birthday child's serious illness, a party can be re-arranged to another date, subject to availability. There is a £50.00 fee, a doctors letter must be supplied and at least 24 hours notification. In the event that cancellation is within 24 hours, the cost of the party food will also be charged for at £5.00 per child and as applicable for adult food.

You can order additional invites over the 20 included in the party package at a cost of £0.25 each. Final number of children attending over 20 must be provided no later than 48 hours before the party. You will be charged for this final number of children whether they attend or not to cover the cost of the food, the preparation and organisation time.


Please note:

  1. All children attending must be paid for. Uninvited siblings are more than welcome to attend at a cost of £10.00 each, which will allow them to play and eat. Information will be clear on the invites and the parents/carers will be able to pay on entry.
  2. You will need to provide the name and ages of the children invited for fire safety regulations and seating arrangements at Party Tea Time, this is especially important for high chair users, so everyone is comfortable and catered for.
  3. Unfortunately at the present time, there is no wheel chair access to the first floor (our venue) or disabled toilets. If you require assistance bringing a wheelchair upstairs, this can be arranged. Our services are available to hire off-site, please do not hesitate to contact us for further advice.
  4. For guests who cannot avoid bringing prams to Magical Circus, we have some space available at the foot of the stairwell but prams are left at the owners risk. Under no circumstances do we accept responsibility for loss or damage to prams left here. We also have space available within our venue and can help bring prams upstair, if required, please buzz at the bottom of the stairs and the cuckoo will let us know!

Booked a party for an 8 year old and all I can say was this was the best choice we could have made.

From start to finish we had a personal service including messages on her birthday. When the children arrived they enjoyed the role area and had time to get to know each other.

Circus performance and skills were fab and the children couldn't wait to be part of the circus. Adults had the opportunity to have ten minutes of quiet with coffee and a cake in the kitchen area. Then the kids put on their heelies and enjoyed the disco. Mel and Angelo spent one to one time with every child and adult making balloon animals and teaching circus skills.

The library was a sanctuary for my niece who enjoyed a calm space. Food and drinks were fresh and no expense was spared. All in all I would recommend magical circus to everyone. I know we will return x x

Are you looking for a different, fun and exciting party for your Birthday child midweek with a small group of friends, maybe on their actual Birthday or just when life is less busy? We offer a 1 1/2 hour after-school or school holiday package all skillfully organised by instructors and hosts Melanie and Angelo with a chance to learn some circus skills or to enjoy a fun disco or roller disco in our amazing Circus Hall. Available midweek term-time between 16.00 - 19.00 hours or during school holidays any time subject to availability.
